Depicted in his eight-armed, eleven-faced emanation, cast standing atop an ornated lotus base, the principal hands in namaskar mudra, the other six radiating around the body bearing different attributes including a lotus flower and a bumpa, adorned in the fine jewellery of a bodhisattva, including necklaces, bracelets, armlets, earrings and five pointed crowns, a brocaded dhoti around the waist, a diaphanous shawl and an antelope skin on the left shoulder, the heads rising in groups of three, the tenth face wrathful, the eleventh is the face of Amitabha buddha, the figure with traces of cold gold paste and colour. The base and the figure sealed. Period: 18th century (c. 1800). Height c. 21.5 cm.
