With colourful threads and gold against a purple ground, decorated with eight golden five-clawed dragons amongst brightly coloured clouds, cranes and auspicious emblems, all above lishui stripes. Period: first part of the 20th century. Length c. 141 cm.
Provenance: Formerly a gift from the son of a couple who were missionaries in China and returned to Sweden in the late 1920s.
